MainePublisher: All geocache placements must have a responsive owner. The cache owner must be able to respond to issues that come up and to submit an "owner maintenance" log to remove the "needs maintenance" icon.

In this case, Groundspeak has sent an email to the cache owner with no response. The cache owner did not respond to any of the cachers hoping to find the cache and did not respond to the reviewer note so the cache is now archived.

The cache location is now open for any Geocacher to place a new cache, including the original cache owner.

Geocache Description:

Alamoosook Lake is a very special spot for the Goody family. Growing up, I remember spending many summer days having picnics, spending hours in the water, and just enjoying time with the people I love. Every year or 2 we plan a large family gathering to enjoy time at the lake like we all did growing up over the years. A fairly simple spot, the container is a large ammo box filled with a few items and a large logbook. After you locate the cache, I hope you can take a moment to sit down by the lake and relax.

Note: This cache was first placed in August, but due to losing the coordinates was unable to make live until March 2016. I did not think to check the logbook before making live so any logs prior to this date do not count.
