To celebrate my 29th birthday, I am placing my very first geocache. After becoming obsessed with this amazing hobby in January of this year, I have found 125 so far, and I felt it was time. I wanted to have a place that meant something to me. I originally was going to place it near my work, since I love my job and the area. But that was a no go. I then decided to place one at Marymoor Park, where I've been a hundred times, and even got engaged there. But there's already a few there too. Then I thought, ok, I'll go a bit further. How about where I first met my betrothed? The Woodinville 12 Theater. Alas, even there was already taken. Well, dang we have some productive geocachers in Washington! So I went further back..delved into my memories to find somewhere important to me. I finally found a spot. This is right next to the bus stop where I have sat at, many a time, over a decade ago, waiting to go visit my friends who lived across the water from me. I lived in Silverdale, near Poulsbo for a while, and I loved it there. This is where I started the journey (albeit, a rocky one) into a new chapter of my life. And this is as good a place as any (that's available) to place my first cache, on my birthday, starting yet another chapter of my life.
I hope you enjoy the area - take a walk to the little nearby beach as I did so many times, and let the waves tell you everything is going to be alright.
**FTF goes to DavidaKira3233** Congrats :)
