Geocache Description:

This disguised cache is just off the path in the roots of a fallen tree. A pencil is provided to sign the log.

Wellies or boots are advised if it has been raining. It does get muddy on the paths.

Little Milford lies on the banks of the Western Cleddau river. This mixed woodland, between Haverfordwest and Milford Haven, incorporates old limekilns and coal mines. Prior to being managed by the National Trust, the wood lost large numbers of oak trees. The Trust is now working hard to reverse this. The river and the woodlands are great places for spotting birds including various ducks and waders. There is a good footpath network from which there are panoramic views along the Cleddau. This is one of five caches placed around the woods by kind permission of the National Trust Ranger for the area.
