♫ Over the creek and through the woods. To the geocache you must go. You'll find waypoints on the way, to guide the way, to the final which is located low. ♫
This multi follows the woods along the back of 270 near Manchester. There is visitor parking nearby at the medical center or across the street at the Lodge. Some stealth will be necessary as you work your way through this cache. All waypoints are located on public property. You might get wet as you walk along the creek, make sure to plan accordingly. The final is a cammo lock-n-lock container. Once you have signed the log, please return the container as found.
At the posted coordinates you will find a small creek. Follow the creek to the south-southeast for approximately 420 ft till you come to a fence that runs over the creek. At this spot, you will pass underneath the fence onto an open concrete storm drain.
Follow the storm drain to the South for approximately 800 ft (.15 miles) until you will come to a spot where the concrete narrows and slants downwards into the ground. At this spot you will also see a fence running up the hill to the left. Staying on the east side of the fence, bush whack straight up the hill to the EAST until you come to a large white wall.
Follow the white wall to the south until the path widens into an open field. From where you entered the field, continue across on a southern bearing for approximately 270 ft until you come to the edge of another woods. You should see a small deer trail going through the center of the woods. At this spot the cache is close by. Approximately 15 ft into the woods there is a hollow stump about 6 ft high. The cache is located in the base of this stump. As a reference, the stump is almost parallel with the end of the large white wall.
