Jmusti escondió hace unos años los tramos 1, 2 y 3 de esta Senda. Tras haberlas recorrido me parecía una idea genial y era una lástima que no estuvieran el resto así que, con su permiso, continuamos la serie.
Este cache múltiple os hace recorrer el tramo 5 de la senda botánica y respondiendo las preguntas correctamente tendréis las coordenadas de la localización del cache final. En las respuestas que tengan un valor superior a 9 se procederá a hacer la suma de las cifras individualmente hasta obtener un solo número (ejemplo: 132 = 1+2+3 = 6; 33 = 3+3 = 6).
Hay un mapa de la ruta con cada punto abajo, como imagen. También se puede encontrar un mapa con más información de la zona en las coordenadas iniciales. También he adjuntado una foto con el cartel del horario ya que parte del recorrido transcurre por una zona que tiene su horario particular de cierre. Tenedlo en cuenta por favor a la hora de planear vuestra visita.
El recorrido transcurre por los Jardines de Cecilio Rodríguez y Herrero Palacios.
Comienza en una de las entradas a los Jardines y los atraviesa para salir por la puerta Norte que lleva a la zona de la antigua Casa de Fieras, que recorreréis para terminar junto al edificio de la Biblioteca Municipal.

49. (B) Arce plateado (Acer saccharinum): ¿Cuántos meses presenta hojas esta especie? Réstale el número de meses que presenta fruto.
50. (C) Ciprés de los Pantanos (Taxodium distichum): ¿Cuánto puede llegar a medir el tronco de esta especie? Súmale el número de meses que presenta flor.
51. (D) Abeto de Masjoan (Abies x masjoanii): ¿En qué siglo apareció esta especie? Súmale cuántos ejemplares se mandaron a Madrid para su estudio.
52. (E) Paulonia (Poulownia tomentosa): ¿Cuántos meses al año pasa esta especie sin flor ni fruto?

53. (F) Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba): ¿Hace cuántos millones de años que existen estos árboles según el cartel? Súmale el número de meses que presenta flor.
54. (G) Liquidambar (Liquidambar styraciflua): ¿En qué año llegó este árbol a Europa? Súmale la altura máxima que puede alcanzar.
55. (H) Sauce llorón (Salix babilonica): ¿Cuántos meses al año presentan hojas? Réstale el número de ejemplares que hay junto a la Ría de Patinar.
56. (I) Plátano de sombra (Platanus orientalis): ¿En qué año se identificó a esta especie como productora de polen alergénico? Súmale el número aproximado de ejemplares que hay en el Retiro.
57. (J) Sófora de Japón (Sophora japonica): ¿En cuántas zonas de Japón crece esta especie de forma natural? Súmale el número de meses que presenta flor.

El caché esta vez está en una zona más discreta y no deberíais tener problemas para recuperarlo en cuestión de minutos. No contiene herramienta de escritura así que recordad llevar una.

Jmusti hid some years ago parts 1, 2 and 3 of this Paths. After going through them I thought it was a great idea and found it a pity that the rest of them weren't there so with his permission I've decided to continue the series.
This Multi will have you walking along the 5th part of the Botanical paths and, by answering correctly the questions posted beneath you will be able to get the coordinates for the final location where the container is hidden. Those answers with a value higher than 9 will require you to reduce the number by adding up the values of each of its cyphers until you get to a one digit number (e.g: 132 = 1+2+3 = 6; 33 = 3+3 = 6).
There is a map of the path and each stop as an image, below. You can also find a map of the path at the starting coordinates, with more information about the area. I have also attached a picture with the timetable of the Gardens as part of the Path goes through an area of the gardens that has a more restricted timetable than the rest of the Park. Please, take that into account when planning your visit.
This path lingers through the area known as Gardens of Cecilio Rodríguez and Herrero Palacios.
It starts at one of the entrances to the Gardens, and will lead you inside to walk them through and exit them at the northern gate. There you will find la Casa de Fieras ("House of Beasts", a sort of parent to the current Zoo). The route ends near the Public Library Building.

51. (D) Masjoan Fir (Abies x masjoanii): In which century was this species discovered? Add the number of trees that were sent to Madrid for studying purposes.
52. (E) Empress tree (Paulownia tomentosa): How many months each year does this species stay without flowers or fruits?

54. (G) American sweetgum (Liquidambar styraciflua): In which year did this species travel to Europe? Add the maximum height it can grow up to.
55. (H) Weeping willow (Salix babylonica): How many months a year do they have leaves on them? Substract the number of trees that can be found next to the 'Ría de Patinar'.
56. (I) London plane (Platanus orientalis): In which year was this species identified as an alergenic pollen producer? Add the approximate number of individuals that exist in Retiro Park.
57. (J) Japanese pagoda tree (Sophora japonica): From how many areas of Japan does this species come? Add the number of months that these trees have flowers on them.
