The cache is located in one of our favorite Gahanna locations, Academy Park, with permission of Parks and Recreation.
The park sports a playground, multiple baseball diamonds, basketball courts, fishing locales and access to miles of bike path. The paths connect to other parks in the area, especially Woodside Green, which brings you more geocaching opportunities. We have been enjoying these parks since we were children ourselves...but WE never had geocaches full of fun things to find!
This cache is the first in a two part series. It's sister-cache is also hidden in the park, can you guess which one? So, happy hunting!
As hinted to above, this cache is meant to be boy-inspired, and its original contents include fun and disgusting toys and creepy-crawlies with which boys love to surround themselves. Please remember to bring your own items to trade with if you intend to trade swag. It is located on the western limits of the park just off of the bike path. Some minor bushwacking may be needed in the summer months. Please replace the container as found, and as always, be wary of muggles on the ever popular bike path.
