Geocache Description:

This cache is on a stretch of the Farnwoth-Sutton greenway that was originally a trackbed of the St. Helens Runcorn Gap railway that was opened in 1833 and reduced to goods line status in 1967 but eventually closed in 1981. It was converted to a cycling and walking track and opened in 2015.
