We had to walk through one of the fields, and found a lovely path through the woods. It ended up alongside a pond and stream. The geocache is located off-trail, and is located near thick foliage. You’ll have to push through some bushes to get to the spot, so mind ticks and other insects. The geocache is hidden among a couplet of trees.
We are a middle school geocaching group that has made another geocache. We decided that we were going to place our second geocache far enough away from our first one but still in the area of our campus trails. This area has many trails so there may be other ways to access the geocache. The trail we chose is secluded, so there might be some brush along the way. It is a beautiful sight when you go during dusk. The container is a circular cylinder with a clip on cap. The container is made out of plastic and can be sealed tight enough that water can't get in. The geocache is in the area of a landbridge between a river and pond that seems to have debris of a remaining parking lot. There are trees growing out of the water nearby. You’ll have to push through some bushes to get to the spot, so mind ticks and other insects. When you find the geocache, please sign the logbook inside and write your favorite plant native to the area. Good luck and don't forget to have fun!
