This mini-series is placed along the John Hohstadt Nature Trail at the Bullhead City Mohave Community College. All the caches on the trail are micros. You do not have to step off the trail to retrieve them or find them. Please be respectful of this this nature trail. No rocks, rock turning or tools are involved. The cache at the top of the trail is an ammo can that at placement contains good kid minded swag. Please try and keep the cache nice at the top. When you log your find at the top please leave a message about your favorite thing about geocaching or something you learned along the trail. This mini series’ goal is to bring people to this nature trail and enjoy the hard work that has been put in to create and maintain it. Remember CITO! If you see something bring it out or place in one of the many trash cans along the trail.
On the trail caches please do not use stamps or stickers there is plenty of room in the log at the top for that!
I did the first trip around and to the top with my 3 year old daughter. Most of the walking is on sand that is similar to walking on the beach. The 0.3 mile hike up to the view point is very rock, narrow and steep at points. I had to carry my daughter up most of it but she walk down by herself. Please remember to bring water as the temperatures begin to rise here. The loop around is about 0.75 miles with the view point trail being 0.3 miles up and down.
These caches were placed with permission. Please help maintain the integrity of the trail by staying on the mark trail.
