Chico, a Sacramento Valley town, has had rocks, fish and meteorites rain down on it. In 1921, an unexplained plague of stones rained down on two warehouses next to eachother. It is thought that someone with a machine must have caused the rocks to be propelled through the air to that location. The police followed one suspect, but even when he wasn't around, the rocks kept coming.
On August 20th of 1878, the local paper reported that a large number of small fish fell on the streets of Chico, despite clear skies. Seven years later, a meteorite weighing several tons fell just east of Chico.
