In Memory of Virgil Traditional Cache

This cache was placed in honor of Virgil whom was a Rushville resident for his entire life. His favorite hobby was fishing here.

This location is across the street from a stone quarry on State Road 244 and holds great significance to WJ9E's family. His father Virgil was a Rushville Firefighter and an EMT for Todd's Ambulance. He saved many lives and protected so many in the community in his 33 years of service. This was one of his favorite fishing spots.The cache is a small camo covered container which includes a log and room for small trade items. There is parking available on the Southwest side of the guardrails. There is no reason to walk down to the stone base by the river.
