Skyline Trail #5 - Offshoot Traditional Cache

My friend Zachary lives in a house that borders this park and walks his dogs on this trail every day. Whenever I'd bring up caching, he'd always ask if there were caches along the trail and I always said that I assumed so because it seemed like a great area. Imagine our surprise when, one time, we actually decided to look it up on the map and discovered no traditional caches in the area. So off I was my next available weekend to hide a few caches and get some coordinates.

This paved trail follows along a ridge line, ocassionally providing a great view of the Cleveland skyline, and then drops down and takes you by a pond and small wetlands area. Convenient parking is in the middle of the trail, so you can pick a way to go and then pass your car on the way back to the other ones.

I liked the way this side trail shot off from the paved trail and thought it would be a great place for a cache.

Please pay attention to the terrain ratings, there is never a need to go down the steep slope, unless otherwise indicated. This has been placed according to the requirements of the Cleveland Metro Parks.
