While on the trail of a couple quick grabs El Churro Diablo and I stumbled upon a trail head for this small park at the far north end of the Cresheim Creek in Chestnut Hill. A quick check of the app showed no nearby Geocaches, a real shame as the area is rife with hiding spots. We resolved to hide a quick cache a hundred or so yards in from the marked parking space.
You’ll be looking or a small container, suitable for stashing a few trackables in tucked away not too far from the entrance of the park. Depending on your angle of attack, and the weather, you may get soggy socks crossing the stream. It was only a small trickle when the cache was hidden but from the looks of the surroundings it could swell considerably in wetter weather.
