This is a new Veterans Memorial that was dedicated on July 4, 2015. The local Ford dealer paid for the Memorial. It has the names of all of those (at least the ones that turned in their names in the months prior to the erection of the memorial) that served or died in all branches of the military. The stones are set up in alphabetic order on a stone for that branch of the service. At the entry is a listing of those that gave the ultimate sacrifice and lost their lives while in the service. For easy location the stones are numbered and there is an index in a book. Please browse the names and enjoy the Veterans Memorial. This is a small camouflaged container with a log only, bring your own writing instrument.
The actual geocache is located just west of the Memorial (due to other caches in the park). This is in the Tipton City Park and t her is plenty of parking available. Permission has been granted to place the cache in this area. Please replace it as found.
The hours of the Tipton City Park are 06:00 am to 11:00 pm.
