Geocache Description:

Potluck in the Park followed by the release of my new 10 cache series along Fraser Street

I had planned on having this event last year as my birthday actually fell on the weekend, but Life prevailed and I was unable to follow through on my plans. This year however I am entirely committed to making this happen!

While my Birthday is actually on June 6th, I am holding this event on June 5th, 2016 between 12:30-3:30pm. I've been told I'm not the only Geocacher in the lower mainland that has a birthday near this day so it can be a kind of joint GeoBirthday event of sorts.

As I live near this park, I figured that a Potluck BBQ event would make for a really awesome get-together bringing people from all over the lower mainland to one place to enjoy a meal in the park. The goal is also to release a 10 cache series along Fraser Street at the end of the event so that attendees can make a run for FTF on whichever ones they choose as they will be so nearby!

The event will begin at 12:30 at the posted coordinates and I will be bringing my stand-up BBQ out into the park to help grill whatever shows up. My plan is to have a few Hotdogs, and Hamburgers on hand with some of the basic fixings, but as this is a potluck I am hoping that each attendee can bring something to the table (literally and figuratively) in terms of food that can be shared and added to our feast.

Suggested Food Items:
Burgers
Hotdogs
Other BBQ worthy meats?
Buns (for both hotdogs and burgers)
Chips
Salad
Fruit (watermelon, fruit platter, etc)
Veggies
Assorted Desserts
Condiments (I will have Ketchup Relish and Mustard on hand)
Drinks (Pop, Juice, Water)
Disposable plates and cutlery (I know this isnt food... sorry haha)
Whatever else you deem a good fit for a BBQ Potluck

Also I unfortunately only have a couple of patio Chairs and tables that I can bring out to GZ so if you have lawn chairs make sure to bring them! I'm also looking for some larger fold out tables that anyone might be able to provide for the event. I would be forever in your debt. Please let me know if you can bring these :D

If you could please mention what you plan on bringing in your log, that way everyone can see what's coming and plan accordingly that would be awesome! :) Can't wait to see you all there!
