St Thomas à Becket Church is one of only four English churches still to claim Thomas à Becket as patron.  Huntington was recorded in The Domesday Book 1086 as Hantinetune, 'Thge Homestead of the Huntsman and described as wasteland having been destroyed during the conflict between the English and the Welsh some thirty years earlier.

After you've looked around our little church explore Huntington Castle - 500m back up the road next to the village hall.

Cache placed with the kind permission of Huntington PCC and Friends of St Thomas à Becket Huntington whose purpose is to advance the appreciation of the heritage and history of the Marches through the preservation, restoration and improvement of the parish church of St Thomas à Becket, Huntington.
