There once was an ol' Pedlar named Toby traveling these parts of hills and streams during the mid to late 1800s. Now as the story goes or least I'm told that Ol' Toby one day jus plain disappeared and none of the local folk knows what became of him.
Now legend has it that Toby drove a wagon pulled along by a horse. The road he took traversed along down the river's flow. At one particular point over a small hill from the river was a pretty good sized bottomless pit with water up to the surface. Now this specific obstacle casused him to closely maneuver 'round to continue on his way. Well after Toby vanished, tales began to tell that as he drove his wagon 'round the watery hole, that the horse's foot slipped falling into the depths taking wagon and Ol' Toby right 'long.
Whether this be true or not, I can not tell but for older folks 'round here relay the tale and others can't believe such a tale can be true. Yet either way, it can be found that near the once watery hole, Ol' Toby had a lil knob named for him so his legend lives on.

Due to location of container which is easy to get to, it is strongly recommended that if children are searching with you, that they remain on the trail a short short distance away.
