I have been wanting to hit this park and grab the caches here for quite some time, and today was the day. I tend to enjoy tromping around in the woods for any reason, but I keep an awareness about me, as I am apparently extra tasty to vampires of all types. With the recent warm winter, it seems the ticks are already out in force, as I have been bitten by two and found many more crawling. This, of course, led me to consider the possibilities of infection by vector-borne illnesses, such as Lyme disease, or babesiosis. For those of us that know better, but still don't take precautions against ticks, it is well past time to start.
So as I was tromping around this underdeveloped (and therefore lovely) park gathering caches, I made my way back to The Happy Bear at N 40° 14.275 W 074° 32.362. Still thinking about vectors, I decided to hide a cache, and headed off bushwhacking in some random direction, for some random distance. The north component is 222.14 m. The east component is 557.36 m. Go find your prize. :-)
