Geocache Description:


Go to the Public Grounds of Mount Hope Cemetery on Mount Hope Avenue in Bangor, Maine. This cache is located beyond the unmarked grave of Al Brady (N 44.49.722 W 68.43.643). Follow the direct road into the forest where sustainable wood harvesting has been happening since 1999. There are a variety of roads and paths that go in all directions (for snowmobiling, skiings, biking, hiking) but if you choose the path less travelled by - that will make all of the difference.

I have enclosed some historical background for the events and individuals that would make Columbus Day in 1937 a day that will always be remembered in Bangor history. Please feel free to take one!
