Geocache Description:

This cache is another in a series of "hidden in plain sight" caches that GigglingIguana and I plan to hide in Albuquerque.  We moved to ABQ about a year ago and have found many interesting caches in the area.  We'd like to give back to the ABQ geocaching community with a few special hide types of our own that we've imported from other parts of the country. Hopefully this one will be one of your favorites!

This cache container is rather simple but finding it will be the primary challenge. The idea is borrowed from a previous cache that GigglingIguana created in Ashland, KY. The cache is hidden along a stretch of the Tramway Trail that's home to dozens of prairie dogs who will be watching as you search.

You won't need any special tools for this one.  Please do not remove the host container from it's surroundings.  You should be able to locate and remove just the cache container without disturbing the host.

This search might be slightly more challenging in the dark, but it is available at all times.  You can legally park fairly close to GZ and can search without trespassing on any private property.  Please be respectful of the area.  Stealth will usually be required due to traffic on both the trail and Tramway Road, but you should easily be able to time the retrieval and replacement to avoid being conspicuous.

The cache is a non-traditional container and is almost the same volume as a geocache ammo box.  It contains a log, a couple of pencils and some starter swag. It's big enough for most travel bugs and we've seeded it with four of them to get things started.

NOTE: PLEASE LOG YOUR DNF!  I know some geocachers are reluctant to log unsuccessful attempts so that they don't spoil their find ratio.  However, without DNF log entries, the cache owners (like me) can't determine whether to raise the difficulty, describe the cache more explicitly, and/or add more hints.

FTF honors go to PS53 and MEK61 who snagged the cache within an hour of being posted!
