This geocache is part of the UVGA's North Umpqua Geocoin series. The series consists of finding at least 15 new caches, plus 5 pre-existing caches in the area. The main event will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Toketee Lake Campground. There will be 100 coins available for those who complete the passport over the weekend.
This geocache is found near the Soda Springs trailhead, as well as near an entry point to the North Umpqua Trail. Sit and have a nice picnic or watch the Boulder Creek Dam do her work! This is a well-camouflaged geocache with an excellent view of the river and geological formations on the opposite shore. Be sure to watch your footing!
