Geocache Description:

Located about 30 feet off a trail of a similar name. Our family hikes, bikes, and has been known, on occasion, to go on horseback through Banner Forest.  One of my favorite areas for mountain biking with the steep hills, banked turns and moguls are near by this cache. Many people that grew up here might remember riding dirt bikes in the area.

Placed hot-wheel cars in for initial swag, there is a special gold one for the FTF.

Because of its value as wildlife habitat and its perceived importance to the public as an educational, scenic and open space area, Kitsap County declared its intention to preserve the site forever in its present use. To that end, the County conveyed to Great Peninsula Conservancy the right to preserve and protect these 139 acres. - Great Peninsula Conservancy Great PeninsulaConservancy is a publicly supported, tax exempt nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is the conservation, preservation and enhancement of the waters, wetlands, aquatic and wildlife habitat, timberlands, scenic areas, open spaces, recreational lands and agricultural lands in KitsapCounty and parts of Mason and Pierce Counties.
