Central Park Drive used to be a deserted, ugly street that was quite the eye sore. However, thanks to two wonderful, local, nonprofit groups, Huntington Beach Tree Society and the Woman's Club of Huntington Beach, this street got a much needed makeover. The Woman's Club and Tree Society raised $10,000 towards sprucing up this street and creating a beautiful drought-tolerant median. The median includes "30 different drought-resistant plants, with a shade tree and a red flowering gum tree as centerpieces". The geocache is hanging out near the wonderful plaque dedicated to the Woman's Club. It is very well camouflaged, so look hard! Happy caching!
P.S. PLEASE be respectful of the median and do not trample any of the plants. Thank you! FTF gets a dollar and a sand dollar :)
