Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the summit of Peak 3954.  You can hike directly up to the cache via the gully between this peak and Railroad Peak, or you can make a fun day of it & traverse all the way across the ridge!  I provided parking coordinates.  From there, we followed a dirt road to the base of Peak 4089.  There is a small path that will take you to the top.  From there, just follow the ridgeline up & down over Black Hill, to the geocache location, then finally up to Railroad Peak, if you dare!  The hiking should be no harder than class 2-3 the whole way.  If it gets tougher than that, look for another way.  After the traverse, I found the gully between Peak 3954 & Railroad Peak to be the best descent route.  Once at the bottom of the gully, head for the dirt road visible by the power lines to the north.  This will take you back in the direction of your vehicle, if you parked at the suggested coordinates.  Depending on your speed, the hike could take anywhere from a few hours, to most of a day.  The views are great & there is a summit register on every peak!  We even saw some bighorn sheep!

The geocache log is on the back side of the summit register, which I placed.  You're looking for a glass jar wrapped in duct tape.
