Geocache Description:

Located in the area are numerous Schools and Parks also a detention pond at the Dr. George Ferguson Park to reduce basement flooding in the area.

One of the schools is Dr. George Ferguson School opened 1968 and located in the Glencairn Community. The school and is named after Dr. Robert George Ferguson who was a pioneer in North America's fight against tuberculosis (TB) and the introduction of free treatment.

St. Catherine Community School is also located in the Glencairn area in East Regina and enrollment is currently 250 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade Eight.

Also across the street is Clarence Mahon Ice Arena
