It's great day to hike the Ruby Jack, rails to trail, trail, so we've placed a few geocaches. The trail has been improved somewhat in recent months.
Of these caches placed today, the furthest is 6/10 mile from proper parking. These are hidden 5'-20' from the trail. Children should avoid going further from the trail and be aware there are stacks and piles of railroad ties in certain areas. These should be avoided. There are some steep slopes off the trail. Bushwhacking, poison ivy and ticks may be worse in the warmer months.
