On Sunday 17th April 2016, PC X 3009 retire from 30 years service with GMP.

We have placed this cache here as this is the spot we had his retirement do. Please bare in mind this is someone's house/business so please be quiet and do not disturb the residents. Cache has been placed with owners permission but has requested parking nearby to avoid blocking entrance. Be careful though its a busy road.

PC X 3009 has retired!!

After 30 years service he has left the force to enjoy his retirement (and a little bit of geocaching).

PC X 3009 serviced initially on the Rochdale division as a 'Bobby on the Beat' (when there was such thing!) after his stint there he transferred to the Traffic Department when he serviced the rest of his career. During whic he has worked invarious role from the Road Policing Units, policing the local roads and otorways, to the Road Traffic Collision Investigation Unit and then of late in teh Serious Collision Investigation Unit where he spent most of his time in the role as a FLO (family Liaison Officer).
