North Weald Bassett is a former RAF fighter airbase, seeing action in WW2. A walk around the area will reveal a Debt of Honour, the former airfield which remains active for civilian light aircraft, and for the most determined amoungst you, the former RAF WW2 radio station and London defence redoubt, both now abandoned.
This Geocache is located in a more urbanised part of the village, at one end of a footpath.
