Moore, Oklahoma! When most people hear these words they instantly think Tornado's and probably rightly so. Between 1998 and 2013 the city itself has been hit by 5 significant tornado's and to top it off a few small ones as well. I myself graduated from Moore High School at a time when that was the only High School in the city.
This town gets knocked down about as much as any town in the nation and yet it still picks itself up, dusts itself off and rebuilds itself even bigger and better.
This Central park is a testament to that spirit. Hope fully this park which has been built directly over the path of the May 20th, 2013 tornado which claimed 25 lives in and around Moore.
Hopefully this ground now has been reclaimed to give happy memories to all who visit.
