Gentle Ben Traditional Cache

This series of “Bear” caches are located along the North Umpqua River Highway. Because of its spectacular scenery, many small communities and people, who work in the woods, there is sometimes a lot of fast traffic. All the caches are placed at or near safe pull-offs. And I suggest you pull over at other points also for the faster vehicles.

Although these are all camoed pill bottles, this is NOT a power trail. Sprinkled here and there you’ll find others’ maintained caches, which you should stop and sign. Most of my pill bottles are GRCs, except for a few I placed just to relieve your boredom…lol.

I hope you have the time to enjoy the scenery…have a little picnic at one of the day use areas or campgrounds…drop a fishing line in and catch ‘the big one’ (most of this particular area is fly angling only). Most of all I want you to enjoy the area and the game.
