A Trail of Health – Pharmacist

This series of puzzles has been designed as an ode to health professionals everywhere.

The aim is to:

1. Give you an overview of some of the amazing professions out there that are helping to keep us all healthy and happy in our lives and;

2. Take you on a lovely walk that will hopefully add to your general feelings of health and wellbeing.

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THE LISTED COORDINATES, THE CACHE IS NOT THERE!  Solve the puzzle below in order to find your final GZ.

Mummy Short Legs is a pharmacist by trade and has worked in hospitals, community pharmacy, internationally and now conducts home visits. Pharmacy isn’t just about filling prescriptions and sticking labels on boxes.

Pharmacists can be found:

• Preparing and dispensing medicines of all shapes and sizes, including making chemotherapy, total parenteral nutrition, tablets, capsules, eye drops, you name it, from scratch.

• Advising patients on how their medicines should be taken and used in the safest and most effective way

• Advising patients and other health professionals about medicines, including about drug interactions, dosages and potential adverse effects.

• Giving advice and supplying non-prescription medicines

• Working in pharmaceutical industry, government policy and research and development, on hospital advice committees or working on clinical trials

• Visiting aged care facilities or patient’s homes conducting medication management reviews

• Promoting health, disease prevention and proper use of medicines

• In the military, legal fraternity, academic teaching, in rural and remote areas and volunteering abroad.

Funnily enough, pharmacists in France must be able to recognize all mushroom types that are brought into their pharmacies and indicate which ones are edible.

You are looking for a medium sided container though you may require some physical manoeuvring to retrieve this cache – be safe at all times and observe the terrain rating.
