Geocache Description:

This Cache is located next to a boat ramp running into the beautiful Tinaroo dam. Before the dam was built Black Gully Road ran all the way across to the valley, when at dam's water level's get below 55% the old road starts to be come visible on islands in the middle of the dam.

 

 

  

We placed this Cache while on a grade 6 camp from Ingham State School in 2016. We were staying at the amazing Tinaroo Environmental Education Centre located close by. Annually we come up here for our school camp.

We have left a handball, signed by everyone on the camp, in the cache. Our hope is that other groups using the Tinaroo EEC will use what we have left and replace/leave item for other groups.

You should be able to drive right up next to the cache. The Cache is a used milo tin, you may need something to “pop” it open. When returning the cache please cover with natural camo.
