Geocache Description:

Martin Park in Thornbury Township - Hours 7am to dusk.

We thought this park needs a nice kid-friendly cache. The hill is pretty steep, but once you get up, there are several nice areas including an old stone building from the old Girl Scout Camp and some picnic tables. There are thorns, but you can get to the cache without thorns.

Good luck finding information about this Thornbury Township park. The park is about 45 acres and borders Chester Creek. Trails are marked occasionally with triangles attached to trees: green, blue (to pond), red (loop) and yellow blazes on the trees (to old scout camp ruins). The red and orange trails have some nice views of the Chester Creek. The "posted" signs shouldn't discourage you as the trails are township ones. The no hunting signs don't apply to geocachers; they are for the other type of hunting.

Cache is a medium lock ‘n lock.
