TALLEST TREE IN THE FOREST...

... Well for this bit of forest anyway. 

A nice easy geocache for beginners located in the Creswick State Forest. 

Located in a small sliver of river reserve land sandwiched between pine plantations this area really highlights the importance of Forestry to Creswick and the wider Ballarat region. 

At the GZ you will find a feral pine tree that falls just outside of the plantation reservation. Because of this this pine has been allowed to grow much larger than the plantation pines in the area.
