Geocache Description:

This is a beautiful resting spot for those who wish to be aquainted with the beauty Hurricane Irene has left behind.

This cache, along with many in these parts of Vermont in which we are placing, are a snapshot of post- Hurricane Irene in 2011. This beautiful quiet road surely, got the brunt of the Irene's Wrath. We invite you to travel these roads, slowly and cautiously, and to not miss the moved foundations, exposed glacial compounds and beautiful views that came from the Phoenix of Irene. We hope you enjoy these as they are our favorite spots "the locals won't tell you about." The Twenty-Mile Stream road, famously called for being the 20th mile marker for many wars, most significantly, the Crown Point. Enjoy! heart

We have placed this cache in a small circular tube (manic panic small tube 2.5X2.5) along a nice resting place. This is a quick grab and go, however the road is not. Please take your time along this cache to enjoy the scenic resting place and perhaps have a picnic if you so dare :)  The description is a good clue of this site and please follow the route in either direction and snap a pic if you can, you never know when these roads will be eroded. Don't chase the waterfall, or swim, and as always use caution. We have a nice FTF gift from Vermont and a couple trade items. Nothing bigger than a peach, and nothing smaller than a coin. There is a parking pull-off and the cache is within feet of the pull off, depending on where you parked.
