This cache was set to help teach church community members about geocaching. It is part of a series, set with permission by the faith communities at each location.
St. Stephen’s Anglican Church supports a parish that dates back to the early days of Britannia Village, in 1886. In the 90’s, the altar was moved forward to a central location and the seating was arranged to point inwards toward the altar. Take a closer look at the patio near this cache. If you enter at the path, you can follow a maze of colored bricks that leads to the center, and then back out again. This walk can be a very peaceful way to meditate and pray.
