I received this golden ammo can as part of “The Team That Shall Not Be Named” and our victory at the 2nd annual Southern Indiana Scavenger Hunt! The event was hosted by graciedi, Mama Jane and Mama Bird and we received The Golden Ammo can as our prize. Ammo cans are meant to be hidden…(what else would you use them for??) So it didn’t take long to figure out what I would do with it.
This tribute cache is to recognize TeamWildeman for their work and efforts putting this Spring Into Geocaching 2016 weekend together!! They had the idea of doing a full weekend of camping and caching and hosting events. I thought it only fitting to dedicate this cache to them! TeamWildeman organized the weekend, helped us file the DNR paperwork and hide a few new caches! Their caches are usually not difficult to find, which makes it great for kids! Their caches are well thought out and usually have some sort of fun animal container!!
TeamWildeman has been caching since May of 2007. Amelia of TeamWildeman was the first person to tell me about geocaching around that time. It only took me 8 years after that to find my first cache! Since that first cache, I’ve been hooked! Amelia has been a great friend and we have had lots of great times together caching and non-caching activities! So, HERE’S TO YOU TEAM WILDEMAN!
This cache is located in a State Park so an entrance fee to the park may apply.
