Geocache Description:

My son and i hid this one a day after his birthday and afterwards he treated my to dairy queen! Then we actually had to rehide and took granny and jack

Please take a moment to check out the tomb nearby. Its in the cemetery by the big tree. Its our towns founder samuel frazey. The town was originally called knoxville but when frazey bought it in 1828 for 31,000 he found that there was another knoxville so named it frazeysburg. He was the postmaster and the proprietor of the largest store. In 1830 frazeysburg had 16 inhabitants. The irishmen were digging the canal that finally reached frazeysburg in 1832. By thenwe were up to 75 inhabitants. Samuel frazey died in 1840 leaving a large family and a wonderful town which grew even bigger a few years later when the train came through.
