We look forward to the return each spring of our delightful Ruby Throated Hummingbirds. Each visit to our feeder brings a smile to our faces. When we first moved in here 16 years ago we discovered their amazing fairy-like nest hanging in a tree, but have been unable to locate one since.
This spring we managed to snap a number of pictures of them in the hopes of learning from them the key to their nesting algorithm, as we were able to do for many of the other birds in our Chase series. We're posting these photos on this cache page in order to enlist the assistance of far brighter cachers to help us in our search for the location of this year’s nest.
Very appropriately, the FTF applause is directed to team happyheartcacher!
