Geocache Description:

Please enjoy the hunt and if the coords are off, please let me know.  But by using your geosense and the hint, it should be an easy find.

The Hebron Public Library was built in 1917 with money from the Carnegie Foundation. The library was one of the last Carnegie libraries built. Due to World War I, the Carnegie Corporation of New York Trustees ended library gifts on November 7, 1917. In all, Carnegie Corporation gave money for 155 Indiana libraries.
In 1942, citizens erected a stone memorial in the library’s front yard that still stands today in gratitude to the Carnegie Corporation.

In July 1990, the Hebron Public Library merged and became a part of the Porter County Public Library System. The system was about to embark on a major building project, and the Hebron Library was part of this plan. The original Carnegie building was renovated and enlarged to meet the needs of the growing Hebron area. Construction was finished in 1995 and the new building was dedicated on November 12, 1995. (Information provided by Pam Ferber, Retired Hebron Public Library Branch Manager)

Enjoy finding the cache and if the cache needs attention or the coordinates are off, please let me know so I can fix the problem. At certain times, the place could be filled with muggles. Happy hunting!

. Cache is not hidden in the library. Staff is aware of the cache but please don't ask them for hints.
