Geocache Description:

You are looking for a tupperware type container which has been camouflaged. There is a pencil and a few small items like a spark plug and an old fishing spinner.

Another in the historical series of Ignace. The site of the current Ignace Fire Department is where the Fairway store was located. This was one of the early stores and was run by the McLeod family. The location was near the tracks because there was no highway at that time and all commerce centred on the railway. Ernest McLeod ran the store through the Depression and often had vagrants travelling the rails drop by looking for a handout. He was kind enough to feed them and often they would do a small chore for him in return. When the highway finally pushed through in the 1930's, traffic in the store declined slowly. The Fairway store was relocated to the highway in the early 1960's.
