This cache is located along the old railroad track bed. You will have to walk on the railbed about 200 meters. This track bed is now used for walking & ATV's during the spring, summer and fall months. During the winter snow machines use this rail bed.
Congratulations PembrokeWinterTexans for the FTFC on this May 24 weekend.
Since the trains no longer go through the Ottawa Valley, there are miles and miles of old railway track beds now used for walking, ATV's and snow machines. These rail beds also make great geocaching locations. This cache container is a large camo painted pill bottle and "should be" fairly easy to find. Along both sides of this rail bed is forest area so wildlife such as deer, raccoons and rabbits may be seen at any time. If you are quiet as you walk towards this cache you just might be serenaded by the many song birds in this area.
