Geocache Description:

OUTBREAK A Night Time Geocache!

Please read carefully to understand your instructions!! This is a themed geocache!

If you're reading this then you're one of the lucky ones. My name is Jack, I was the lead researcher at Geisinger's new research facility not too far from here. One day we were in the midst of trying to find a cure for one of the worlds most deadly viruses when a terrible accident happened in the lab and the virus became air born and quickly escalated out of control.

My colleagues and I have feared this day would come and planned ahead. If you're reading this letter then I can only assume the outbreak happened and you're on the hunt for safer grounds. Luckily for you we have built a secure camp not too far from here but you'll need to pass several tests before you can arrive safely at our door. Follow these instructions carefully.

Goodluck!

Trailheads are marked with 3 tacks.

Follow the marked trail until you see 2 tacks. Stop at that location and look around for a second set (2) of tacks. Near the second set you'll find the container which has the information needed to move forward. Remember to thoroughly search each container, one missed clue will result in a failed attempt at finding our camp.

Each stage is marked with a different colored set of trail markers. Please take note of this as the trails do cross each other from time to time.

Stage 1 - Orange Tacks
Stage 2 - White Tacks
Stage 3 - Orange Tacks
Stage 4 - White Tacks
Exit Trail - UV reactive paint

Below is a list of REQUIRED equipment! Without it, you'll never get to the end!

Flashlight
UV Flashlight
Laser Pointer (preferably green, so you can see the beam)
Pen and Paper

Remember to use common sense when in the wild and follow ALL STATE GAME LAND RULES!

DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS GEOCACHE WITH LARGE GROUPS!

Follow this link to see all game land rules and regulations. (visit link)

!!IMPORTANT!! Please be careful when opening the final cache. It is a puzzle and can easily become disheveled if not carefully handled. Please slide gently back into place and secure the container.

This Night cache has an expected completion time of approx. 3 hours depending on how quickly you figure out each field puzzle.

A BIG Thank You to NinjaNurseRN for her critiques and advice and congratulations on FTF.
