Geocache Description:

This is a typically hidden type cache along Almaville Road.  Plenty of pull off and parking room, but no room for anything but tiny trackables.  BYOP.

Who is Vince?  This cache was named in honor of Vince Guaraldi (July 17, 1928 – February 6, 1976), born Vincent Anthony Dellaglio, an American jazz musician and pianist noted for his innovative compositions and arrangements and for composing music for animated adaptations of the Peanuts comic strip.

His talents extended far beyond the novelty tunes.  His most notable album was his last studio effort, “Alma-Ville”, which today is still one of the rarest around.  The title cut is one of the catchiest tunes he ever wrote.

Why did I name this cache for him?  I tried to come up with a catchy name, something folks will remember.  Then it hit me – Almaville Road – “Alma-Ville” – Vince Guaraldi - "Cache Along with Vince" (like "Sing Along with Mitch", for those of you who are old enough to remember) Anyway, there you have it.

It's not a spectacular, go down in history cache.  Just a plain and simple cache meant to do what Vince Guaraldi's music did; make you smile.
