Geocache Description:

**This cache IS at the posted coordinates**

This is a gadget cache that is a little bit of a mystery too.  Finding the contraption at the posted coordinates should not be hard.  Once you find it, though, you will need to figure out what to do.  NOTE:  This cache is on the un-paved trail to the east of the main paved trail.

***If the ground is wet, things might not work all that well, as your 'stuff' will be wet***

The best time to try this one is when the ground is dry and dusty...or you came prepared with other 'stuff'.  For the most part, winter is a bad time for this one, but I suppose it could be done if you come well-prepared.

Be sure to NOT use any hand tools.  There is no need to use any force and no need to disassemble anything. You really don't HAVE to bring anything with you, but a cup or can or bucket might help you gather some of what you need. The best stuff is to the south, right in the middle of the trail.

HOW TO DO IT - Figure out what to try and see what happens, then check to see if what you did was right.  A few gentle thumps with your fist on the '6' will tell you if it's ripe yet.

TO RESET this geocache for the next geocacher, find the cord on the back side and use it to bring the container back into position.  The black bucket is intended to act as a rain guard to keep the insides dry - please replace over the cache.

A little history:

In the fall of 2007 I found some junk along the road and spent the winter figuring out just how to use it (of course, for a geocache ). The concept for a too-complicated gadget cache was born, but by the next summer, I had a prototype worth trying out. Cache or High Water was published and enjoyed 8 years of use and smiles from many geocachers, but it took a LOT of maintenance - it was just too complex. Last year, I decided that it was time for the original cache to go, but over a winter of many cache ideas I came up with a new concept - a little different twist on the same theme. While this version isn't as elegant as it's predecessor, it has a lot better chance against the elements and humans. ENJOY!

GOOD LUCK!
