Elks View #16 Traditional Cache

This geocache is located within one of the city's off leash dog parks. There is a paved walking path overhead of GZ, but this route will require a short hike down a steep slope. An alternate route would be to approach from another GC I have hidden in the area (GC69YYB) & follow the main trail east until you are stopped by a fence for the Elks Golf Club. Continue south on the trail & it will lead you right to the geocache.

Bring your geopup along for the adventure! This is a great off leash park that is fairly quiet & partially secure. The cache is located right long the main lower path of the park & can actually be located from either side of the fence (*hint hint). Those golfing Elks Golf Club may be able to grab this one quickly from the black tee box of hole #16 (providing there is time). The trail can get a little busy in the evenings, so be on the lookout for people suddenly approaching GZ. Don't worry if a duck toller look-alike comes ripping around the corner... that's just geopup Marla - & I should be following close behind. You're looking for a bison tube.
