Bus Stop Bench Traditional Cache

Sitting at the bus stop bench
Making odd faces to the rain

Watching for a bus that never comes
Distracted by the lack of lights and noise

Wood rot, cement damp, poor paint job
pink flamingo ghosts peeling and flaking away

Stranded here on a forgotten bus stop bench
Waiting for a bus that never comes

I helped design and build this bus shelter nearly 25 years ago.  It seemed like a good idea at the time.  

I don't think it has ever been used as a bus stop though.  I'm not sure where the bus stops anymore.
