If you live in the Town of Vault in the early 1900's and needed to get to Fairbanks, this is the place where you would head to. In this area was the railroad station of the now abandoned Tanana Valley Railroad. Taking the railroad means you can avoid the rough trails leading to Fairbanks as well as arriving at your destination much quicker. There are no remains visible of the actual station but you can see the railroad grade just to the west of this cache.
