Once the home of a mighty snake,
He scared off predators with just a shake.
Black and brown with beautiful eyes,
Within the rocks they used to lie.
Look for this cache along the trail’s edge
It is hidden within a once lived in ledge.
Long since gone from our gorgeous park,
The Timber Rattlesnake has forever left its mark.
