This little park reminds me of a “Fairy Dell”
A circle of trees hold special powers for fairies who are said to enchant wooded areas.
Some of our most favourite fairies have a long history.
Titania is a character in William Shakespeare's play A Midsummer Night's Dream. In the play, she is the queen of the fairies. Due to Shakespeare's influence, later fiction has often used the name "Titania" for fairy queen characters.
Also the Disney Franchise created in 2005 built around the character of “Tinker Bell” from the 1953 animated film Peter Pan and made her their mascot. The characters are often referred to as “Neverland Fairies”
Another the “Tooth Fairy” was a fantasy figure of our early childhood. Folklore states that when children lose one of their baby teeth, they should place it under their pillow and the tooth fairy will visit while they sleep, replacing the tooth with a small payment.
So take time to have a stroll through this area and remember how much delight fairies bought to our childhood.
